Division of Physics requires applicants to take the entrance examination. However, the admission test and classes are provided in Japanese. Proficiency in the Japanese competence is thus a critical prerequisite for enrollment.
For other information, see Japanese pages.
Admission policy
Physics is the study of the fundamental mechanisms of the natural world, from the formation of matter to the structure of the universe. It provides the foundation for the environment in which we live and the technologies that make daily life as we know it possible. TMU welcomes students possessing a strong sense of curiosity and a positive attitude who:
- are interested in our world’s natural phenomena and the structure of the universe, and want to understand the principles behind them,
- enjoy learning about how things work through experiments and observations, and
- like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and other science subjects want to learn more about them.
